What this comes down to.
You tell us about a course, we answer you and do the work you asked for, and nobody else hears about it. We do not sell what you give us and we do not write to your school. Everything below is that same promise with the particulars filled in.
What the slip collects.
A call slip asks for your first name, an email, your programme and school, the part of the work you want covered, and whatever you choose to tell us about the situation. The newsletter asks for an email and nothing else. An affiliate application asks for your name, email, where your readers are, and the programme you finished here.
The house sets no tracking cookies of its own, keeps no accounts, and runs no advertising pixels. Ordinary server logs exist as they do for any website, and they rotate out on the host's usual schedule.
Who reads it.
The specialist who takes your desk, and the lead who assigns it. That is the whole list. Every person at a desk here works under a standing confidentiality agreement, and the particulars of your work do not travel past the person doing it.
We do not contact your university, your employer, or anyone connected to either. Card statements are discreet. Where a reader arrived through an affiliate, that affiliate is never told who enrolled, and you are never told who referred you.
What we will not do with it.
We do not sell, rent or trade it. We do not name borrowers anywhere on this site: the reviews carry initials and a field of study, and nothing that could identify the person who wrote them. An address given for a quote is used to answer that quote, not to send you anything you did not ask for.
Keeping it, and getting rid of it.
Records stay while your work is live, and afterwards only as long as our accounts require. Write to desk@carrelhouse.com from the address on file and we will delete your contact record and take you off any list you are on. Every letter carries an unsubscribe link that works the first time you press it.
