CH 378.12 · 8-WEEK SUB-TERMS

Liberty University Online.

Liberty runs discussion-heavy eight-week sub-terms with integration requirements many students underestimate. The work is steady rather than difficult — and steady is precisely what a twelve-hour shift breaks.

Questions we are asked most.

Which citation system should I tell you about?

Both, if your sub-term uses both, and name the edition. Programmes lag deliberately and a marker works from the handbook they were issued, so a paper set impeccably to the newest standard can still collect deductions.

Can the discussion boards be covered alone?

Yes, and Liberty students ask for it more than anything else. Across a sub-term the opening threads and the replies together add up to a large share of most courses, so releasing them hands back more evenings per pound than any other line on the slip.

Two demanding courses this sub-term. Where do we start?

With both syllabi in one message. The collision usually concentrates in a single fortnight where two major pieces meet, and covering that stretch is far cheaper than covering either course from end to end.

What about courses that ask for worldview integration?

Where a marking sheet calls for it, it is written substantively and by somebody used to that register. Where your course says nothing about it, none appears, because a paragraph added at the end to satisfy a box is visible to any marker.

Are the divinity and counselling programmes covered?

Counselling yes, with case conceptualisation going to somebody who has practised rather than an academic writer. Divinity varies by course; ask, and you will hear plainly who could take it and what they have read.
